It is the aim of this blog to get people interested in the Word of God/The Bible. To realise that they needed Jesus Christ in their lives and also for the eternal life with God.

To take advantage of the fact that the Kingdom of God is near at hand, you only have to reach out and take hold of it. (Matthew 4:17 ‘From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.) Jesus brought the Kingdom of God closer. You just need to accept Him as your Redeemer.

You should take this bold step while there is still time, because Jesus Christ will be returning soon.

I am a 77 year old South African woman who has been fortunate to grow up in a Christian home and who has loved the Lord Jesus from an early age. Like most people I have also strayed from the plan that God has for me but He never left me to just go my way in this ungodly world. He has always kept in touch with me even in the darkest days of my life. There has always been a yearning within me to serve Him and spread His word to as many people as possible. I am not a Pastor or a qualified Minister. I am just a Child of God and I take it seriously that He said that we should be bringing the Good Tiding of Salvation through Jesus, the Son of God, to all people.

I started serving God by taking the pages from our Church’s Daily Message book and posting them to people, selected at random from the Telephone Directory.

Thereafter I bought tiny little books, filled with the promises of God, and handed them out to people that crossed my path. Then one day a black man approached me and said that I should make a book that would give the average man more information about God. I thought about this and came to the conclusion that this was a great idea and that it would cost less than buying the little books that cost me about R10 each and in this way I could reach more people and give them more information. I started writing (with much prayer and help from God) and printing these pocket sized booklets in Afrikaans and also in English. I handed out thousands of these booklets to South Africans (especially the English version to black South Africans) and also a couple of hundreds to people in other countries that I was privileged to travel to. Lately I am not in a position to print these booklets so I have been keeping busy by translating daily messages from English to Afrikaans for a Pastor in South Africa and then sending the Afrikaans version to many of my friends and acquaintances. The English version I also send to a couple of people in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and the USA. These friends have all undertaken to pass the messages on to other friends. This is why I have now decided to write this blog in an attempt to reach even more people and also to share as much as possible of the knowledge I have acquired from delving into God’s Word and to get people interested in reading The Bible.

I am therefore starting with the Good Tiding of the birth of Jesus and hoping that many people will take it to heart and become saved.
